Dr Fusheng Guo, Professor and PhD supervisor at Faculty of Earth Sciences, and Vice-President of the East China University of Technology, winner of the governmental special allowance of the State Council of China, has long been engaged in research and teaching in Regional Geology, Geomorphic Landscape and Tourism Development. He has lectured on “General Geology”, “Tourism Geography”, “Planning and Exploitation of Tourism Resources” and other graduate and undergraduate courses. As principal investigator (PI), Dr. Guo has completed more than 20 projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, China Geological Survey and China Nuclear Geology. He has won the first prize of Jiangxi Province Scientific Progress (ranked first), the second prize of Jiangxi Natural Science (ranked first), the first prize of Geological Science and Technology Award of China Geological Survey (ranked first) and the third prize of National Defense Science and Technology Award, the second prize of National Teaching Achievements (ranked fourth) and 4 awards for the first prize of Jiangxi Province Teaching Achievements Award (ranked first).
