孙占学，男，理学博士，东华理工大学教授、校长。中国核工业总公司部级“112育才工程”学术技术带头人培养对象、江西省高校中青年学科带头人，全国优秀教师，核工业总公司部级劳动模范，江西省新世纪百千万人才工程第一、二层次人选，江西省“赣鄱英才555工程”首批领军人才，享受国务院专家特殊津贴。江西省高水平学科“地质资源与地质工程”第一学术带头人、“江西省核资源与环境－科技部省部共建国家重点实验室培育基地”主任、“放射性地质国家级实验教学示范中心”主任和国家国防科技工业局“铀资源勘查与铀矿产品提取技术”国防科技创新团队带头人。东华理工大学、河海大学和中国地质大学博士生导师。《中国地质教育》、《世界核地质科学》、《地热能》等杂志编委。
目前主要从事地热学、水文地球化学、金属矿床溶浸开采、矿床地球化学等方面的教学与科研工作。曾先后主持完成了国际合作、国家自然科学基金和国防科工委项目10余项；在研科技部国家合作重点项目1项，国家863课题1项。获省部级科技进步和自然科学二、三等奖5项，有一项参与的成果获国家科技进步二等奖。在国内外发表学术论文80多篇，合编学术专著4部，高校教材2部；学术论文被SCI、EI和ISTP国际三大检索刊物收录30余篇。在地热学、铀矿溶浸开采、水文地球化学等方面学术造诣较深，多次应邀赴美国、日本、冰岛、巴基斯坦、奥地利、加拿大、乌兹别克等国讲学与合作研究。
开设的研究生课程主要有：高等水文地球化学。
